Welcome to the Historic One-Of-A-Kind Palace of Auburn Hills Online Auction Sale!  Schneider Industries, Inc. www.schneiderind.com & www.ownpalacehistory.com is pleased to manage this Auction Sale on behalf of the Detroit Pistons.

All Items must be Picked up by the winning bidder during pick up period of: August 7th to September 24th  from 9:00am – 6:00pm.

Please NOTE -- Club West Furniture Lots that  will only be availiabe for pick-up toward the end of the pick-up time period (Late Sept or Early Oct.) Details to be on invoice.

2019 Terms of Sale Agreement

 1)  Acceptable payments are Credit Cards and Wire Transfers only.  Buyers are charged an 18% Buyer's Premium plus a 3% Credit Card Processing Fee.  Credit Cards will automatically be charged within 24 hours of Buyers receiving their invoices via email.  If Buyers wish to waive credit card fee and pay by wire transfer  -- bidders must contact the auction company and complete the wire transfer within 24 hours of receipt of the invoice. Wire Transfer payments are exempt from Credit Card Fee.

  INVOICES ARE SENT 24-48 HOURS AFTER CONCLUSION OF AUCTION SALE.  

2. While descriptions are believed to be correct, the seller's agent or the owners make no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Everything sold "AS IS" and "WHERE IS" except as expressly made in writing. All items are subject to prior sale before close of auction in bulk packages.  Contact Schneider Industries at  info@schneiderind.com to discuss bulk sales packages prior to auction closing.

3. Purchaser hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Seller its directors, officers, employees and other agents and representatives from and against any and all liabilities, judgments, claims, settlements, losses, 
damages, penalties, obligations and expenses, including attorney`s fees and expenses and other professional fees and expenses, incurred or suffered by such person arising from, by reason of, or in connection with any loss, damage or injury to person or property arising from, by reason of or in connection with the Goods sold hereunder. This indemnification shall survive delivery of the Goods to Purchaser and any subsequent sale or other transfer of the Goods to a third party.

4. It is the buyer's responsibility to pick up the items ____The pick-up dates / times are from: ____August 7th to September 24th  from 9:00am – 6:00pm -- MAKING AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE ONSITE CONTACT IS RECOMMENDED. PRIORITY PICK UP TIMES GIVEN TO LARGER BIDDERS TO MAKE SPACE FOR OTHER BIDDERS. 3^rd Party MOVERS ONSITE TO ASSIST WITH LOADING. BUYERS PAYS A REMOVAL FEE IN LOT DESCRIPTIONS UNLESS SELF LOADING EXEMPTION IS GRANTED (SEE RIGGING AND LOADING BELOW FOR EXEMPTIONS)_______.  Location is Palace of Auburn Hills, 6 Championship Dr, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. If buyer or a buyer’s agent does not pick up the items then ownership will revert back to Seller with no refunds provided. To send a buyer’s agent for pick up -- the buyer’s agent must have a copy of the winner’s receipt invoice, the name, phone number, and address.

RIGGING AND LOADING:

Each lot will have a removal & staging fee that is listed in the lot description.  This amount will be automatically charged to your invoice if you are the high bidder.   This fee pays for the lot to be removed and placed in a staging area for loading at time of pick up by Customer. Mandatory Pick-up location is the Palace of Auburn Hills. Pick-up must be done in person. If you can not pick up yourself, you may send a representative to pick up on your behalf. Customer is responsible to provide all transportation. The rep. must have the winning bidder's name, phone number and their address listed on invoice to pick up the item on winner's behalf. Winning bidders must make arrangements to have their items picked up at the scheduled times. For items that are not picked up at the mandatory pick-up, the ownership of the item may revert back to Seller with no refunds to the high bidder. The provided Movers are a 3^rd party which Schneider is collecting the money on the movers behalf.  Schneider Industries and their principles are not responsible for any damage during this process. 

Self-Loading Exemptions by Bidders:

Should the customer wish to load themselves or bring in their own removal agents -- at their cost and fore-go the removal costs from 3^rd party movers listed in the auction -- this is possible if customer has adequate liability insurance and/or approved by Auctioneer. Otherwise all bidders will be charged the listed removal fees.

Note: For all Self-loading Bidders -- a reasonable, hourly check-out a fee may apply for a rep of the auction company to assist in locating items and to escort and monitor during self-load of his items. All bidders must be escorted while onsite at pick up location. This hourly check-out fee for approved Self-loaders would be paid by bidders credit card while onsite and at time of check out.

BIDDERS WHO PURCHASE LARGE QUANTITY OF ITEMS WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY TO REMOVE THEIR ITEMS.  PICK UP APPOINTMENT IS ENCOURAGED.

5. Sales Tax will be added to the purchase of all taxable items. 

6. Purchaser does hereby indemnify and hold harmless auctioneer and seller from any and all damages, claims or liabilities from injuries to persons or property of any type whatsoever caused during the sale or by the removal of items purchased.

7. Seller's agent and Seller shall have no liability to the purchaser due to non-delivery of any item for any reason other than to return to the Purchaser the monies deposited for non-delivered items. Seller has the right to accept or reject any or all bids

8. In the event the purchaser fails to pay the whole of the purchase within the time set forth by the auctioneers and/or fails to comply with any of the conditions or terms of sale, the seller may retain and/or recover the deposit specified as liquidated damages and, in addition thereto, items that are not paid for can be resold at public or private sale without further notice. Any deficiency resulting from such resale shall be paid to the auctioneers by the defaulting purchaser together with all charges, fees, and expenses incurred by such resale and enforcement of the obligation hereunder.

9. Technology Disclaimer: Auctioneer does not warrant that the functions, features or content contained in the website, including any third-party software, products or other materials used in connection with the website, will be timely, secure, uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

10. If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the seller's agent may or may not put the lot up again at once, and resell. 

11. The seller's agent, when acting as agent only, is not responsible for acts of its principals.

FAILURE TO PICK UP YOUR ITEM(S):  There are NO additional pick up times other than the above.  Winning bidders must make arrangements to have their items picked up at the scheduled times.
