Welcome to the Historic One-Of-A-Kind Joe Louis Arena Memorabilia Online Auction Sale!  Just in time for the Holiday Season to get the perfect Authentic Gift for any Red Wings Fan! Schneider Industries, Inc. (www.schneiderind.com) is pleased to manage this Auction Sale on behalf of Olympia Entertainment and the Detroit Red Wings.

PICK UP AFTER THE AUCTION BY WINNING BIDDERS: There will be a 4-day MANDATORY pick-up. This MANDATORY pick-up is located at Joe Louis Arena.  The pick-up dates / times are: _Wed Dec 20th from 12pm - 8pm, Thursday Dec 21st from 12pm - 8pm, Friday Dec 22nd from 8am - 5pm, Saturday Dec 23rd from 8am - 5pm._.  Location is Joe Louis Arena. The items must be picked up during this time! No exceptions! If you are a winning bidder, you must make arrangements to have your items picked up. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY. PICK UP IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. No shipping is offered at this event.

All Items in this Auction are Authentic, One-of-a-Kind Items from Joe Louis Arena former Home of the Detroit Red Wings. The lots in this Auction that are sold in AS-IS, WHERE-IS condition.  As some background information for this sale -- in October & November 2017 the items were carefully authenticated, inventoried, and secured in a holding area at Joe Louis Arena. Due to the items being secured in a holding area -- an inspection prior to bidding is not possible. Schneider Industries has provided high-quality photos of each item and a detailed description for all the items. Email info@schneiderind.com for any questions related to auction. All items will come with a hologram authentication tag of a “Final Season at the Joe” logo.  A hologram logo affixed to the item will insure it is 100% authentic.  

PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS: At time of pick up, the winner should bring a copy of their auction invoice receipt (either electronic or print out is acceptable.)  Shipping is NOT being offered.    However -- you as a winning bidder may have an agent pick up your items on your behalf.  To have an agent pick up your item(s), the agent will need to bring a copy of the winner’s receipt along with the winner’s name, address, and phone number.  If buyers are out of the area, please make arrangements with an available pick-up agent prior to bidding on any items. 

FAILURE TO PICK UP YOUR ITEM(S):  There are NO additional pick-up times other than the above.  Winning bidders must make arrangements to have their items picked up at the scheduled times. Bidding Information:

 PAYMENT IS AUTOMATIC TO WINNER'S CREDIT CARD: At conclusion of the auction the winner’s CREDIT CARD ON FILE WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED. In order to register for the auction, bidders will need to enter your credit card on file. Winning Bidders will be emailed a Schneider Industries invoice receipt by 5pm on the 1^st business day after the Auction Sale concludes. Any bidders that do NOT win will not have anything charged to their credit card.

AUTOBID FUNCTION IS ENCOURAGED:

Use the ’maximum bid’ function to save time so you don’t have to watch each lot closing. To use this function simply enter the highest amount you are prepared to pay as your ‘maximum bid’. BidSpotter.com bids on your behalf up to your ‘maximum bid’. BidSpotter.com will only bid as much as necessary to make sure that you meet the reserve price or that you remain in the lead up to your ‘maximum bid’. We’ll notify you by email if another bidder places a bid that is higher than your ‘maximum bid’.

Staggered Closing: The online auction closes two items per minute (one item every 30 seconds). This feature will close the bidding on intervals. This feature works great and since items will be closing in close proximity -- Autobidding is encouraged.  Any questions about Autobidding please contact Bidspotter customer service.

Dynamic BID Closing. The closing time of an item is automatically extended an additional 5 minutes whenever a bid is placed within the last 5 minutes of the asset's closing time. This is to prevent what is called "bid sniping". This allows everyone the ample chance for everyone to bid without losing the item due to time running out.

Out-Bid Notification: If you have been outbid you will be notified by email ONLY UNTIL the last day of the auction --- starting at midnight EST the night before the ending of the auction notices are not sent. To quickly review your bids and see if you have won you can utilize the 'review bids' feature. Items that they have been outbid on will be clearly marked

Winning Bidder Notification: You will be contacted by email ONLY on the Next Business Day if you are a winner. If the Auction closes on Saturday --  you will receive your invoice on Monday by close of the business day.  Schneider will send winner the invoice via email from Schneider Industries.  (Bidder is responsible for checking your email) If you feel you have won an item and have not received an email you must notify us by email no later than 6pm the next day. If you do not receive a paid email invoice then you did not win any items at the online auction and no further action is required.

2017 Terms & Conditions of Online Auction Sale

1. Payment will be by credit cards that are automatically charged after the sale is complete.

2. While descriptions are believed to be correct, the seller's agent or the owners make no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Everything sold "AS IS" and "WHERE IS" except as expressly made in writing. No warranties are made as to the merchantability of any items or their fitness for any purpose. All items are authentic items used in Joe Louis Arena. 

3. Purchaser hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Seller its directors, officers, employees and other agents and representatives from and against any and all liabilities, judgments, claims, settlements, losses, 
damages, penalties, obligations and expenses, including attorney`s fees and expenses and other professional fees and expenses, incurred or suffered by such person arising from, by reason of, or in connection with any loss, damage or injury to person or property arising from, by reason of or in connection with the Goods sold hereunder. This indemnification shall survive delivery of the Goods to Purchaser and any subsequent sale or other transfer of the Goods to a third party.

4. It is the buyer's responsibility to pick up the items at the announced pick-up times located at Joe Louis Arena.  If buyer or a buyer’s agent does not pick up the items then ownership will revert back to Seller with no refunds provided. To send a buyer’s agent for pick up -- the buyer’s agent must have a copy of the winner’s receipt invoice, the name, phone number, and address. 

5. Applicable Sales Tax will be added to the purchase of all taxable items. 

6. Purchaser does hereby indemnify and hold harmless auctioneer and seller from any and all damages, claims or liabilities from injuries to persons or property of any type whatsoever caused during the sale or by the removal of items purchased.

7. Seller's agent and Seller shall have no liability to the purchaser due to non-delivery of any item for any reason other than to return to the Purchaser the monies deposited for non-delivered items.

8. In the event the purchaser fails to pay the whole of the purchase within the time set forth by the auctioneers and/or fails to comply with any of the conditions or terms of sale, the seller may retain and/or recover the deposit specified as liquidated damages and, in addition thereto, items that are not paid for can be resold at public or private sale without further notice. Any deficiency resulting from such resale shall be paid to the auctioneers by the defaulting purchaser together with all charges, fees, and expenses incurred by such resale and enforcement of the obligation hereunder.

9. Technology Disclaimer: Auctioneer does not warrant that the functions, features or content contained in the website, including any third-party software, products or other materials used in connection with the website, will be timely, secure, uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

10. If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the seller's agent may or may not put the lot up again at once, and resell. 

11. The seller's agent, when acting as agent only, is not responsible for acts of its principals.

12. 15% Buyer's premium will be applied to all sales. A 3% Internet fee will be applied to all online purchases. Certain items may have reserves or minimum bids. Removal charges are listed in each lot description. Removal fees are paid by the buyer in addition to the sale price for the careful removal of each item so that it can be hand delivered to you at pick-up.  See each individual lot description for removal fee. Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
