Flocon 260 is a multifunctional antiscalant and antifoulant forreverse osmosis systems, highly effective in controlling bothcrystallisation and particulate fouling of membrane surfaces.Flocon 260 will control CaCO3, CaSO4, BaSO4, SrSO4and CaF2scale deposition.Flocon 260 is formulated to control both soluble and insolubleiron and will effectively disperse particulates.Flocon 260 is effective against silica fouling.Flocon 260 has compatibility approvals from membranemanufacturers.Flocon 260 is certified to ANSI / NSF Standard 60 for use inreverse osmosis systems producing potable water.Product Properties The following are typical properties for Flocon 260 and should notbe regarded as specification limits for the product. It may beapplied as the neat product, or as a solution in distillate. A minimum dosing solution strength of 10% w/w is recommended.Flocon 260 should be dosed continuously, and proportionately tothe feed water flow, to maintain the recommended dose level. The dose level required is dependent on the quality of thefeedwater and the saturation indices of the various scale formingspecies present in the concentrated brine. Proprietary computersoftware is used to calculate scaling indices and calculateoptimum system recovery.
