Verplaetse Excavating Co. has been a family owned business for over 58 years.  Walter Verplaetse founded the business in 1958.  His sons and daughter joined and continued the business.  Now the owners have decided to discontinue the business to retire or pursue other interest.  All equipment and vehicles have been maintained through the life-time use of D-A oil and a scheduled oil sampling program.  With the preventative maintenance and oil sampling VEC equipment experience longevity and fewer unscheduled down-time.  The equipment has exclusively been operated by two of the owners, Randall and Ken Verplaetse and the trucks by owner Wayne Verplaetse and nephew Alex.

All diesel vehicles and equipment are Pre-Def, and all in working condition when business ceased in March 2017.

TERMS: Everything sells like is, as is, where is.  No warranties or guarantees are in effect whether expressed or implied.  All purchases must be paid within 24 hrs. of receiving receipt.  US Funds for payment. Payment can be cash, wire transfer, or cashiers check.  For checks - a letter of credit from your bank stating their willingness to honor checks written.  This must be in the Auction Companies office 48 hours prior to the auction day.  A buyers premium of 6% applies on each item purchased.  If using credit card an additional 3% handling fee applies.  Announcements made at time of sale supersede any previous announcements.
