*All descriptions are believed to be correct, but no guarantees or warranties are
made by auctioneer as to nomenclature or age. Everything sold on an "as is"
basis.

*Please remember that a bid is a verbal contract; once you become the
successful bidder, you must pay for your items. If you find that the riggers you
contact are charging you high fees, that doesn’t mean that you can abandon
your items. Once you win, you are responsible for paying.

*A deposit of 25% (of what you actually bid on or intend to bid on) in cash,
cashier’s check, credit card account authorization, company check or company
purchase order is required of each bidder. In the case of a credit card account
authorization, your account number must be entered as part of the process of
registering to bid. If you do not have a credit card, please call our office at
323-851-2008 and make arrangements to overnight a check to our office in
order to bid.

TAX
ALL SALES WILL BE SUBJECT TO LOCAL SALES TAX

San Luis Obispo, CA sales tax: 8%

FOR THOSE CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITHIN CALIFORNIA:
The only way to be exempt from sales tax us to give us a copy of your resale
permit. We do not keep copies on file, and verbal recitations or written
confirmations of your resale permit number are not sufficient. You must remit
an actual hard copy for our office to keep. If you cannot provide a copy either
before or during payment, you will be charged the sales tax.

If you can provide a copy after payment is made, but within 21 days of the sale
date, you will receive a sales tax refund. After 21 days, your sales tax will have
been remitted to the State Board of Equalization, and steps will not be taken to
retrieve that money for you.

Notes: (1) If you are a manufacturer, your resale permit will not be accepted. A
resale permit is valid only when you are buying the type of machinery that you
are in the business of selling. So, if you are buying items that you do not
routinely sell, we reserve the right to require additional proof, such as a copy of
an ad. If your status is still unclear, we reserve the right to refuse your permit.?
(2) Unfortunately, we are unable to accept partial sales tax exemptions.

FOR THOSE CONDUCTING BUSINESS OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA:
The only way to be exempt from sales tax is to provide us with a Bill of Lading
(from a common carrier only) proving that your equipment has crossed state
lines. The State Board of Equalization doesn’t accept resale permits from other
states. As you will not be able to provide a Bill of Lading until after the items
have been moved, and therefore, after payment, you must pay the sales tax.
When you fax a copy of your Bill of Lading to our office (818-933-0782), a
refund check will be promptly sent. However, if you don’t provide us with a
copy within 21 days of the sale, your tax money will have been submitted to the
State Board, and we will not take steps to retrieve it for you.

Please note: if you send us a wire transfer for payment without including the
sales tax, and before providing a Bill of Lading, your items will not be allowed to
leave the sale site until the situation is corrected. There are no exceptions to
this.

Note to International Buyers: Unfortunately, we cannot accept Bills of Lading for
items being exported to Mexico, or any
other country. If you are exporting equipment to another country, you must pay
the sales tax, unless you move through another U.S. state first, and can provide
us with a Bill of Lading showing the items have moved to Arizona, or Texas, etc.

LOT REMOVAL:

Dates to be announced at the sale.

We do not load, package, palletize, disconnect or ship. Removal of equipment
is entirely the responsibility of the buyer.

Note to international buyers: We do assist with importation/exportation in any
way. We do not fill out or file paperwork, and we have no further information as
to country of origin, weights, measures, etc. It is the buyers responsibility to do
whatever is required to import/export equipment.
