Terms & Conditions
In order to bid you must register online and provide a
bank letter of confidence stating you are in good standing with your financial
institute. The letter must be faxed to 403-377-2675. All information is strictly
confidential.
All Internet Bidders shall be registered by ____May 3, 2017_____________
___________9 p.m._________., MST prior to Auction Start Time. A bidder must be
approved the night before the auction start time or they will not be approved.
Charlton Auction Service, Ltd. reserves the right to refuse approval of
bidders upon their discretion.
There is no charge to bid online. However, if you are the
winning bidder on the internet, a 3% buyer's premium with an $800 cap
per lot will be charged on each winning bid. There are no fees if you attend the
auction and bid in person. This is a convenience fee for internet bidders
ONLY. The successful bidder is responsible for their lot from the time the
auctioneer calls item sold. Neither the Auctions Company or the Seller assumes
responsibility for any loss, damage or theft occurring after the hammer falls.
All paid items must be removed by the buyer from the sale
site within 1 week of the sale date.
G.S.T. will be charged where applicable.
Payment Instructions: Acceptable forms of payment are wire/internet
transfer, or certified check (bank draft), which must be received by the
auction company within 2 business days of the auction. Credit cards are also
an accepted form of payment, however there is an additional 2% service fee for the convenience. Please contact the auction company after 6 p.m. the day of the sale to make payment arrangements.
Purchased items may not be removed from the sale site until
payment is received in full. No exceptions.
It is the responsibility of the bidder to insure their purchases immediately.
Registration certificates on applicable lots will be mailed
to the buyer within 10 days of receipt of payment.
All property sold \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"AS IS\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Property
is open to thorough public inspection. It is the Bidder\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s
responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other
determinative factor. Charlton Auction Service Ltd. may attempt to describe the
merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes no
representations. All hours, miles, and kilometres are unverified. In no event shall Charlton Auction Service Ltd. be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. Neither Charlton Auction Service Ltd. or the Seller assumes any responsibility for any injuries suffered while inspecting, buying or removing equipment.
