IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU PRINT AND CAREFULLY READ THE DETAIL THAT FOLLOWS:
1. REGISTRATION – All bidders must register for the sale providing name (& business if applicable), address, and reliable contact phone number. By registering the bidder acknowledges that they have read, accept, and submit to abide by the terms set forth in this document. It is the registrant’s responsibility to seek clarification of any condition or term not clearly understood or left undefined within this document.
2. INSPECTION – Items can be inspected at Bruno’s American Pub & Grill located at 2652 Hampton Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri 63139 on Monday, June 22nd, 2015 between 9:00am – 3:30pm.
3. BIDDING – All bidders must be registered to participate in this sale. Placing a bid acknowledges that the bidder has read, accepted, and submits to abide by the terms set forth in this document. Placing a bid also signifies a contractual intent to purchase at the specified bid amount and cannot be rescinded.
4. PAYMENT – Payment is due in full within 24 hours of the auction closing. ATEC will email invoices to the successful bidders at the end of the sale with details regarding the removal process. ATEC accepts Cash, Wire Transfer & Personal Check with Proper ID. Cash payments made onsite must be exact change. Company Checks are accepted with a bank letter verifying account is active and in good standing. All checks should be made payable to ATEC. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted as credit card payments. If paying with a credit card, the buyer waives their rights to file a credit card dispute, as all items are released to the buyer immediately following payment. An 18% Buyers premium will be added to the sale price of each item sold. Sales tax in the amount of 8.679% will be added to the purchase price of all items. Tax exempt buyers must provide a sales tax exemption certificate or supporting documentation to ATEC at time of registration. Payment in full must be received prior to the removal of any purchased item. Any unpaid purchases will be considered abandoned and re-sold at the auctioneer's discretion.
5. REMOVAL – Removal is the sole responsibility of the buyer. If you are removing equipment that is connected to gas, electric, or water service, this must be done by a qualified, insured professional. The auctioneer is not responsible for preparing items for removal. No items will be released until that item has been paid for in full and a copy of the paid invoice is presented to an ATEC representative on site. Removal of all items will take place Wednesday, June 24th, 2015 thru Friday, June 26th, between 9:00am - 4:00pm. All items removed must be approved and recorded by ATEC personnel before leaving the premises. Additional removal will be permitted BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Monday, June 29th thru Thursday, July 2nd. Please call ATEC at (314) 447-3200 to schedule a removal during this period. All items must be removed no later than Thursday, July 2nd, 2015 at 4:00 pm. Any items not removed by this deadline will be considered abandoned.
6. MERCHANDISE – All items are being sold AS IS/WHERE IS without warranty or guarantee of any kind expressed or implied. Neither the auctioneer nor the seller shall be responsible for discrepancy in description or nomenclature. The auctioneer does not own any of the items in the sale and is working on behalf of the seller. The auctioneer reserves the right to remove on behalf of the seller any items identified by the seller to have a clear defect or legal encumbrance not initially known and identified at the time of posting. Neither the auctioneer nor the seller shall be held responsible for any issues related to the safe handling and transport of equipment purchased, as removal is the responsibility of the buyer.
