TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

A 13% Buyer`s Premium and applicable sales taxes (8.613%) will be applied to each purchase. Cash, Wire Transfer, Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover), & Company Check with Bank Letter will be accepted for payment. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU PRINT AND CAREFULLY READ THE DETAIL THAT FOLLOWS:

1. REGISTRATION – All bidders must register for the sale providing name (& business if applicable), address, reliable contact phone number, email address, valid credit card number and bank information.   Credit Card information is only utilized to validate the registrant and will not be used as a method of payment without a signed consent from the bidder.  Complete registration information is vital to being quickly approved for the sale.

Incomplete registrations may not be approved at the discretion of ATEC.  By registering the bidder acknowledges that they have read, accept, and submit to abide by the terms set forth in this document.  It is the registrant’s responsibility to seek clarification of any condition or term not clearly understood or left undefined within this document.

2. INSPECTION – Advanced inspection/preview of items is available by appointment only – our contact information is listed below. 

3. BIDDING – All bidders must be registered to participate in this sale.  A 13% Buyers Premium/Internet Fee will be added to the sale price of each item sold.  Sales tax in the amount of 8.613% will be added to the purchase price of all items. Tax exempt buyers must provide a sales tax exemption certificate or supporting documentation to ATEC at time of registration.  Placing a bid acknowledges that the bidder has read, accepted, and submits to abide by the terms set forth in this document.  Placing a bid also signifies a contractual intent to purchase at the specified bid amount and cannot be rescinded.  All items have been assigned a nominal starting bid and will be sold to the highest bidder above this opening price.

4. PAYMENT – All winning bidders will be notified by email immediately following the sale with an invoice to follow.  If you receive notification that you are the successful bidder, but do not receive an invoice by 2:00pm on Thursday, November 13th, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to notify our office at (314) 447-3200 so that we may reissue your invoice.  ATEC accepts Wire Transfer, Company Check With Bank Letter, Cash, & Credit Cards (Visa, Master Card & Discover). All checks should be made payable to ATEC.  A 13% Buyers premium/Internet Fee will be added to the sale price of each item sold.  Sales tax in the amount of 8.613% will be added to the purchase price of all items.  Payment in full must be received prior to the removal of any purchased item.  Any unpaid purchases will be re-sold at the auctioneer’s discretion. 

5. REMOVAL – The seller will provide loading of all equipment purchased from the auction, unless otherwise noted in the description. Buyer is responsible for arranging appropriate transportation for all purchases. Removal will be by appointment only. No item will be released until that item has been paid for in full. A copy of the paid invoice must be presented onsite prior to the removal of all items. Removal will take place Monday November 17th through Friday November 21st by appointment only. Removal will not be permitted during the weekend. No one will be allowed onsite without an appointment.

If you employ someone to ship your purchases they must provide a copy of the paid invoice to our representative on site.  No outside riggers and/or movers will be allowed in the facility without prior authorization and proof of insurance.  NO ITEM WILL BE REMOVED WITHOUT PROOF OF PURCHASE AND PAYMENT – NO EXCEPTIONS!   Any items not removed by the deadline will be considered abandoned.  If you anticipate a problem with meeting this deadline you must communicate with ATEC prior to bidding. 

6.  MERCHANDISE – All items are being sold AS IS/WHERE IS without warranty or guarantee of any kind expressed or implied.  Neither the auctioneer nor the seller shall be responsible for discrepancy in description or nomenclature.  The auctioneer does not own any of the items in the sale and is working on behalf of the seller.  The auctioneer reserves the right to remove on behalf of the seller any items identified by the seller to have a clear defect or legal encumbrance not initially known and identified at the time of posting.  We suggest that you personally inspect or employ someone to inspect the items prior to placing bids.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CLARIFY ANY OF THE TERMS OR CONDITIONS PRIOR TO BIDDING ON ANY ITEMS
