*Please remember that a bid is a verbal contract; once you become the successful bidder, you must pay for your items.  If you find that the riggers you contact are charging you high fees, or your customer backs out, that doesn’t mean that you can abandon your items.  Once you win, you are responsible for paying.  For any lots that are won and abandoned, we will attempt to resell.  The buyer who abandoned the lot will be responsible for any shortfall between the price at which they won the lot, and the amount for which it is resold.

SALES TAX

ALL SALES WILL BE SUBJECT TO LOCAL SALES TAX

Albuquerque, NM (Gross Receipts) Sales Tax: 7.875%

New Mexico doesn’t have what they call a sales tax.  It is called a Gross Receipts Tax.  

For those doing business in New Mexico: please provide us with a copy of your NTTC if you wish to remove the GRT from your invoice.

For those doing business outside of New Mexico: New Mexico will accept a Multi-jurisdiction Uniform Sales & Use Tax Exemption/Resale Certificate, which can be found here: https://www.mtc.gov/getattachment/Resources/Uniform-Sales-Use-Tax-Exemption-Certificate/Uniform-Sales-and-Use-Certificate-3_13_2019.pdf.aspx?lang=en-US

However, it appears that this form is valid, in New Mexico, ONLY FOR RESELLERS.  You must write in your reseller permit number from your home state on this certificate.  For out-of-state manufacturers, there does not appear to be a valid tax exemption, and so you will have to pay the tax.

FOR VEHICLE SALES, which make up the bulk of this auction, we will not be charging you taxes, since you will have to pay those when you register the vehicle in your name.  The above exemption form is only for non-vehicle sales.

Please ensure all forms are filled in completely and correctly.  We reserve the right to refuse any tax documentation that appears questionable.  If you cannot remit to us either an NTTC or a Multi-Jurisdictional form, you must pay the tax on your invoice.

***IMPORTANT***In ALL cases, without exception, if you cannot furnish us with the required tax exemption proof BEFORE payment is made, then you MUST pay the tax.  If you can furnish us with the required documentation after payment is made, but within 21 days of the sale, a refund will be promptly issued.  There are NO exceptions to this.  If you make a wire transfer to us, or obtain a cashiers’ check, without including the tax and before giving us the required documents, you will not be allowed to remove any equipment until the situation is corrected.  Once we have remitted collected GRT to the New Mexico Department of Revenue, no steps will be made to retrieve any of those funds if you hand in late documentation.

***If we have any doubts as to the veracity of tax exemption claims, we reserve the right to refuse tax exemption status.***

LOT REMOVAL

 CHECK-OUT: Thru November 15^th, 8am-4pm.  Weekends by appointment only. 

Removal of lots is entirely the responsibility of the bidder.  We do not disconnect, wrap, palletize, package, load or ship.  There will be no equipment, like forklifts, onsite to facilitate your lot removal.  It is up to you to hire a rigger or otherwise provide for the removal of your items.

Additionally, if you are moving items out of the country, please understand that we do not act as customs brokers.  You will have to facilitate any and all paperwork involved with removing your items across borders.  We provide a Paid Invoice upon payment, and our Fed. Tax ID number, and THAT IS ALL.

We are from California, and at the time of this posting, have no rigger information to share regarding local machinery movers.  When we do, we will make updates.

You are allowed to use any licensed, bonded and insured machinery mover you wish to hire.  Please make arrangements quickly; do not wait until a week after the sale has elapsed to begin making calls.  Lately, we have had too many problems with buyers taking too long to begin the removal process.  As such we have implemented the following policy: 

IMPORTANT: Due to buyers being lax about removing their items in a timely fashion, we are implementing a $500 per day fee for entry into the facility every day past the time allotted for check out.
