After the sale day, all items must be paid for with Wire Transfer or Credit Card. Credit Card payments cannot exceed $10,000. "Certified Check" should be made payable to Alex Lyon & Son. Everything Sells "AS IS, WHERE IS." The following charges will apply to all purchases: (1.) For each unit $55,001.00 and above, a 5.99% administration fee will be assessed when paying with Cash, Certified Check, or Wire Transfer. (The standard fee of 8.99% will be assessed when paying with credit card); (2.) For each unit $1- $55,000, a 10% administration fee will be assessed when paying with Cash, Certified Check, or Wire Transfer. (The standard fee of 13% will be assessed when paying with credit card). (The standard fee of 15.5% will be assessed when paying with a credit card). (4.) An additional 2.5% internet buyers fee will be charged to successful online bidders with a $700 per item cap.

Pick up times are "generally" Monday- Saturday 8am-4pm - This is subject to change per sale so to be sure of exact pick up times for a particular sale, please contact the auction house. Auctioneer will also make announcements at the start of each sale disclosing Pick up days/times for that auction. To those choosing to enter a Pre-Bid: Making a Pre-Bid does not negate the responsibility of the buyer to be aware of all announcements made during the live auction. These auctions are still LIVE, and many announcements are made during the sale. Auctioneer announcements will always take precedence over any written terms. Alex Lyon & Son will not be held responsible for announcements you were not aware of due to making a "pre-bid" WIRE TRANSFER INSTRUCTIONS: Please contact Alex Lyon & Son's main office for wire instructions at 315-633-2944. Ask for Tom. Purchases must be paid within 5 days and removed from the sale site within 7 days of the sale date. Loading will be on Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and if applicable, Sundays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Any equipment remaining on the grounds after 7 days will be subject to storage fees or removed at the buyers expense. Shipping arrangements and cost are the BUYERS SOLE RESPONSIBILITY. Purchases become the responsibility of and shall be and remain at the risk of the Purchaser immediately upon acceptance of his bid. It shall be the responsibility of the Purchaser to insure his purchases immediately. NOTICE – Policy for international Buyers: all international buyers must provide a current, valid passport for identification purposes and a $10,000.00 deposit. The deposit must be made with US funds in form of cashier’s check or wire transfer. SALES TAX: All sales are subject to sales tax. SALES TAX EXEMPTIONS: Buyers with a VALID exemption certificate are not required to pay sales tax for equipment and miscellaneous, but MUST present a copy of their certificate at time of registration at EACH SALE. EXPORTERS: If you take possession of your purchase in the United States, you must pay sales tax. You must provide the following in order not to be charged: Bill of Lading – All export purchases must be removed by a trucking company. The trucking company will provide a Bill of Lading with the purchases listed. NOTE: No items will be released without this document or you may pay tax and be reimbursed once the Bill of Lading or a Dock Receipt is received. MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAILER EXEMPTIONS: Specific for each state. Please call office for exemption details. No sale shall be invalidated by reason of any defect or inaccuracy in any of the lots by reason of their being incorrectly described in this listing or elsewhere and no liability shall be borne by the Auctioneers in respect of any such fault or errors. These listings have been prepared only as a guide based on information from sources generally believed to be reliable and from the Consignor but the accuracy thereof cannot be guaranteed or warranted by the Auctioneers.
