*** Keywords ***

References to "Corporate Auctions", "We", "Us" and "Our" pertain to Corporate Auctions, Unit 12 Whitehill Industrial Estate, Hammond Avenue, Stockport SK4 1PQ. References to "lot" and "item" pertain to the goods appearing in this and any other event held by Us. References to "Buyer" and "Winner" pertain to the person(s) placing the highest bid at the close of auction - subject to Our our acceptance of any winning bid.

a.) This Sale is conducted strictly in accordance with the Conditions of Sale and General Notes contained herein.

b.) All bids made for the items in this event are AS SEEN AND INSPECTED by the party submitting the Bid. Pictures, titles and descriptions are all for illustration & information purposes only. If you have any questions regarding an item(s) then please contact our offices to ask a question (via email or phone) prior to bidding. Corporate Auctions will not be held responsible for any misunderstanding arising from the information provided about the lots in this event, nor for the misinterpretation of images which are used to illustrate the lots. Corporate Auctions advise all bidders and interested parties to attend the viewing day at the specified time and date (subject to appointment). Items in this event are AS DESCBRIBED AND AS SEEN in the photographs, unless otherwise stated.

c.) Each lot in this event is to be treated and sold on an individual basis and is unrelated to all other lots (unless expressly stated). All bids submitted are for the specific and complete amounts of money, and will in no way be calculated according to or related to any other bids submitted for any other lots.

d.) We reserve the right to market and sell any and all items shown in our auctions/events in any other market place before, during and after the auction has taken place (please also refer to  "Item/Lot Withdrawal" section). However, under normal circumstances the items for sale/auction in our Bidspotter auctions will only be availble for sale in this marketplace (i.e. currently www.Bidspotter.com).

e.) We reserve the right to either accept or reject winning bids after the auction has finished. We are not required to explain our reason(s) for rejecting a winning bid. The highest bid placed on an item will be considered the winning bid, but this does not constitue ownership of an item. You (the bidder) do not own an item solely by virtue of being the highest bidder in the auction. You must pay for an item in full (this includes any applicable additional fees including but not limited to: V.A.T., buyer's premium, delivery charges) before any change of ownership takes place.

f.) Any lot/item in this auction may be subject to a reserve price. We may at any time before the end of auction withdraw, divide and/or combine any lots. We may sell any lot by private sale before or after the Auction. We may reject any Bid at our sole discretion and without being required to give a reason. We shall in every respect decide how the auction is to be conducted and without being required to give a reason. Corporate Auctions will not be held liable (either by the vendor or prospective purchaser) in the event of any dispute due to errors, omissions or disruptions which may occur when bidding online. All prices are exclusive of any applicable Buyer's Premium, Value Added Tax and any other fees levied by Us against the Buyer, for which the Buyer shall be additionally liable to pay to Us. We will not be held liable in the event of any dispute due to errors, omissions, disruptions or power failures which may occur when bidding online.

g.) AT THE END OF THE ONLINE AUCTION, FINAL BID AMOUNTS WILL BE SUBMITTED TO OUR CLIENTS FOR APPROVAL. ANY AND ALL LOTS MAY BE SUBJECT TO A RESERVE PRICE. ABSOLUTELY NO OFFER MAY BE WITHDRAWN, AND BOTH WE AND THE SELLER/VENDOR/AGENT ARE NOT BOUND TO ACCEPT THE HIGHEST OR ANY OTHER OFFER.

h.) Misrepresentation: whilst every effort has been made to provide accurate and reliable information, We do not warrant the information contained herein and prospective purchasers must satisfy themselves by inspection as to its correctness.

1.) AUCTION / BIDDING PROCEDURE

*** Item/Lot Withdrawal ***

We (Corporate Auctions) reserve the right to withdraw from auction any and all items in our event at any time (regardless of whether bids have or have not already been placed). However, we will only withdraw an item under exceptional circumstances - the clarification and definition of "exceptional" being decided upon by Us alone. Circumstances include, but are not limited to: i) human error; ii) an item being sold privately before the end of auction. PLEASE NOTE: once the auction is over We reserve the right NOT to sell the item to the winning bidder. However, we will only exercise this right under exceptional circumstances (as before, We alone will decide what can and what cannot be defined as exceptional).

*** Bid retraction ***

Placing a bid confirms that you have accepted our terms, and once a bid has been placed you have committed to buy and pay for the item in full should you be the winning bidder. Only in exceptional circumstances will we be able to retract a bid that you have placed on an item(s). If you would like to retract a bid then you must contact us immediately and We will consider your circumstances.

*** Technical Difficulties ***

We are NOT and cannot be held responsible in any way for any difficulties, either technical or otherwise, which you may experience whilst using this Web site (www.bidspotter.com). Such difficulties may include, but are not limited to: i) the Web site crashing; ii) your computer/PC/laptop/terminal crashing or losing power. If you are experiencing any such problems please contact Bidspotter.com where appropriate. However, if you have any questions regarding the items in our event, or the event details (time/date etc.), then please contact our offices (see our contact details).

2.) VIEWINGS

By appointment only, unless otherwise stated in the event notes and/or the item/lot description. Please call to arrange a time/date where appropriate.

Please refer to the event description - and/or item/lot descriptions - for viewing times/dates and locations.

3.) PAYMENT

Payment must be received within THREE days of the close of auction or of receipt of invoice(s) - whichever is sooner.

Where possible we will send you - via email and normally within 24 hours of the close of auction - an invoice(s) for the item(s) you have won in our auction. We reserve the option to revoke the auction and retain the deposit if the payment is not received within THREE (3) days.

OUR PREFERRED METHOD OF PAYMENT IS BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD (there is currently a 2% surcharge on Credit card payments)

*** Credit/Debit Card  ***

We accept Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, Solo or JCB cards. Please call our office, or e-mail your telephone number so we can call you, and we will take your payment over the telephone. Please have the item/lot number(s) (e.g. REF #10423) and auction paddle number (e.g. #5012) to hand when you call.

*** Bank Transfer ***

Please e-mail Us for bank details. Please use the item number in the reference box and make sure that you let us know once payment has been made by this method.

*** Payment on Collection ***

You are welcome to pay on collection as long as collection takes place within 3 days. Collection point address: see "Contact Us". Please bring a copy of the Bidspotter invoice with you and having the correct change would be appreciated (if paying in cash). Please also read the "COLLECTIONS" section below for more information.

*** International Bidders ***

Please e-mail for alternative payment methods. INTERNATIONAL CHEQUES NOT ACCEPTED UNLESS BUYER PAYS BANK CHARGES.

We cannot release items unless they are paid for in full including but not limited to any applicable V.A.T., buyer's premium, collection charges, delivery charges or storage fees.

4.) DEPOSIT

PLEASE NOTE: A deposit is to be paid prior to bidding. We will automatically charge this deposit to the credit/debit card provided in your details upon registration for this event. Alternatively you may pay this deposit You can offset your deposit against purchases in this event.

The deposit amount for this event is: Ł200.00

5.) OVERSEAS BUYERS

As per EC rules, when invoicing overseas (i.e. non UK) buyers we will not charge VAT on those goods which would normally be subject to VAT (e.g. wholesale goods). However, as per EC rules these goods must be taken out of the UK within a time frame dictated by the HMRC (please contact the HMRC offices if you are need advice on exportation rules and regulations).

However, VAT is applicable and will be charged on the buyer's premium (see section 4.) in all cases. This applies to ALL winning bidders, both UK and non UK-based.

Overseas bidders must provide the auctioneer with a recognised EU V.A.T. number when registering to bid, else UK V.A.T. (currently 15%) will be charged.

6.) BUYER’S PREMIUM

A buyer’s premium (see event details via www.Bidspotter.com for the exact rate) plus VAT to be paid. UK VAT (currently 15%) will be charged on the buyer's premium. In the absence of a buyer's premium rate on the auction page, the buyer's premium will be 15%.

7.) UK VAT

UK VAT (currently 15%) to be added to both the final bid (on items which are VAT applicable) and the buyer’s premium.

8.) COLLECTIONS

Winning bidders must pay for their items within 3 days and collect within 7 days* of the end of the auction.

* This timeframe may differ where one or more items are in another location (i.e. other than our head offices / warehosue). Please see the event details and/or the individual lot information/descriptions for precise dates/times/instructions for collection of those goods.

Collection dates, times and location are as stated in the general event information and/or the item description (if different to general dates/times/locations). These dates/times are final and the bidder agrees to collect on these dates. Only in exceptional circumstances will we change the collection dates/times, and in such cases we will do our utmost to inform all parties of any changes. Any changes will be published on www.Bidspotter.com in the event page before the end of auction, and We will inform the relvant parties where possible via email/phone. When collecting an item(s), please bring a copy of the Bidspotter invoice with you.

The lots/items in this event are usually located at our main warehouse (see Contact Details). In such cases the collection date and time will be by appointment (please call/email), and We ask for you to give us at least 24 hours notice of your intention to collect so that we can have the item(s) ready for you.

Collections from our main warehouse to be made by appointment between 0900-1800 Monday to Friday or between 1030-1430 Saturday. We bring the item to you at our loading bay. If you require one or more staff to help to carry the item to your transport from the loading bay, there is an additional Ł5 charge for this service.

We will not release any item until it has been paid for in full (see above for Payment Conditions). We may be able to arrange to hold the item(s) at our head offices for longer than 7 days but storage fees of Ł5 per item per week for small items and Ł25 per item per week for larger items will apply thereafter. If you wish us to store items for you then you must inform us of your intent by telephone or email immediately, otherwise we will charge Ł25 per item per week regardless of its size.

9.) DELIVERY OPTIONS

All items are available for collection from our main warehouse (see Contact Details) unless otherwise stated (see event details and/or individual lot/item descriptions), and we can offer a delivery service on many of the items (again, see individual Item descriptions as some items are collection only).

10.) SHIPPING CONDITIONS

We use professional packing materials, cardboard boxes of sufficient strength to protect your item in transit, packing filler as appropriate, and comply with all postal packing guidelines to minimise any chance of damage during shipping. Our charges are based on the weight and type of item and include the cost of using postal service or courier, cost of packaging materials and cost of staff taking time to carefully pack your item. THE ITEM WILL BE POSTED TO THE ADDRESS HELD ON BIDSPOTTER UNLESS OTHERWISE ADVISED, SO PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU PROVIDE US WITH THE CORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESS AS WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIVERIES TO INCORRECT ADDRESSES.

*** Delivery times ***

We aim to dispatch your items within 3 working days of cleared payment. However, this may be longer in busier periods.

*** Postal service ***

All prices quoted for postage are for either Royal Mail 1st class, Standard Parcels or postal courier (e.g. DHL, Parcelforce) which are covered for loss up to Ł32. If an item sells for more than Ł32, we suggest you take the option to have either Special Delivery or increased postal insurance.

*** Discounted shipping costs ***

We are able to offer postage discounts to customers who buy multiple items if the items can be packaged together, please let us know if you would like to combine shipping immediately after winning the first item. Payment for multiple buys must be within 3 days of close of first auction. Any items outside the three day window will not be eligible for combined shipping.

*** International shipping ***

We will ship items weighing up to 2kg internationally by Royal Mail Airmail. If item is over 2kg and you wish for it to be shipped, please request a shipping quote before bidding as anything over 2kg can work out very expensive to ship.

*** Lost packages ***

We are not liable for any loss once your item has been passed onto the postal company. If, for ANY reason items are undelivered and NOT returned to us after 15 working days, then it is classed as lost. As we get proof of postage for all mail sent, a claim will be made against the carrier used to send your package and refund will be passed on once refund cheque is received. Carriers only pay the price of the item, not the postage cost.

*** Damaged packages ***

All our items are packed with the greatest of care. We are not liable for items that are damaged in transit.

If damaged in transit, a claim will be made from the company used to send your item and refund will be passed on once refund issued.

Carriers only pay the price of the item, not the postage cost.

*** Delivery of large items ***

There will only be one man with your delivery so please ensure that there is somebody at the destination who is able to assist with lifting. If our delivery driver turns up and there is nobody to assist with lifting heavy items, then you will be charged for this delivery, plus the delivery fee for a return delivery - please ensure someone is present the second time else the same charges will be reapplied and third delivery arranged etc..

If an item is returned due to the buyer not being present at the time of attempted delivery, the buyer will then again have to pay for the item to be shipped back. Corporate Auctions will not cover this cost. Redelivery charges will be that of the original P&P charge. If you are not happy with the postage or collection fees, please do not bid on the auction as we cannot lower the fees.

11.) RETURNS

All bids made for the items in this event are AS SEEN AND INSPECTED by the party submitting the Bid. We will NOT ACCEPT returns under any circumstances. All electrical items, unless stated otherwise, as UNTESTED by us. We do not take responsibility for items that do not work.

Corporate Auctions uses its best efforts to inspect the item(s) for sale and create descriptions and furnish photographs that fairly and adequately depict the type, condition and image of the goods at the time of sale. Corporate Auctions makes no express or implied warranties or representations regarding the condition or suitability of the goods and to the extent allowed by law, specifically disclaims any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to any warranty of saleability or fitness for purpose.

We do our best to present accurate, detailed information about every item we sell. We might from time to time add to the description; if the new information precedes a bid it is part of the description. Please feel free to ask any questions during the auction you might have and we will attempt to answer them in time; however, once the auction is over we will not answer questions under any circumstances. Please remember that your winning bid constitutes a binding and enforceable contract, please do not bid if you are uncertain in any way.

Descriptions and images provided do not in any way indicate the condition of a lot. All potential buyers/bidders are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested, before the auction takes place.

A catalogue description is for guidance only, it does not imply any item is free from defect. Prospective buyers must satisfy themselves as to the physical condition of a lot.
